Atrovent Nasal SprayA healthcare provider may prescribe Atrovent nasal spray for a runny nose that is caused by the common cold, allergies, or other causes. Atrovent nasal spray is typically taken two to four times daily and works by decreasing the fluid production in the glands that line the nasal passages. Most people tolerate the medication well. However, there are potential side effects, such as nosebleeds, a sore throat, and headaches.
