You and Your Baby at 15 Weeks
There are two types of new parents in the world. One of these types are parents who get a good night's sleep because their baby is able to sleep through the night. The other type can be spotted with heavy eyelids and drinking coffee by the gallon! If you are one of the "others," know that you are not alone.
If you have the chance, go through the pictures taken of your baby when he was born. Look at his body shape and size, his cheeks, his eyes, and his nose. Check out all of the ways that he has grown and changed in the short time since then. He has probably filled out nicely with plump cheeks and a little extra chub around the middle.
There might not be anything more special in the world than a chubby baby. His personality is emerging a little more every day and the
temperament that he was born with is more pronounced. He's crying less and cooing more. As a parent, you probably feel as if he has gotten a lot more fun to be around and is no longer the helpless little creature he once was. It only gets better (just wait until he is talking back to you -- cherish the moments).
If you haven't done it yet, you should take a little time to go out just for the sake of getting out. Spend a little time getting back to who you are, doing a few of the things you love doing but haven't had the chance to do lately.
To help you do this, you might enlist the help of your partner, family members, or a good friend that offered to help when you need it. Or, you can find yourself a good babysitter.
Finding a good babysitter and confidently leaving them alone with your baby can be a challenge. There are a few things you can do to help achieve these goals.
