Baby Week 2
Tip of the Week -- A Crying BabyWhen your baby cries, it is not necessarily a bad thing. A crying baby needs something and is trying to communicate that need to you. Use this as an opportunity for you to show your infant that you are there for them. By responding to your baby's cries, you are sending a strong message that you:
- Have received their message
- Want to help them.
This reciprocal communication is the first step in establishing a strong and healthy relationship.

Baby's Week 2: Helpful Tips for ParentsThe long-standing "secret" to it all is to remain as calm as you can. Babies are extremely in tune with their surroundings and can acutely sense the emotions of those around them. If you give off stressful feelings, you will essentially be giving your baby a reason to be stressed as well. The calmer you are (or seem to be), the calmer your baby will be.
