Baby's Week 5: Helpful Tips for Parents

When your baby is sleeping, keep the noise level the same as it usually is when your baby is awake. If you make a point of keeping things quiet while they sleep, they will expect silence and startle easily if a noise is made. At a minimum, try to keep ambient noises going almost constantly. Leave the radio or even the television on low throughout the day, especially during naptime.
