It is unlikely that
Boudreaux's Butt Paste® would interact with other drugs. However, don't forget to mention Boudreaux's Butt Paste when your child's healthcare provider asks about any measures you have taken to treat
diaper rash. Knowing what has worked (and what has not) will help your healthcare provider know how to best treat your child's diaper rash.
If your healthcare provider recommends a different product (perhaps even a prescription medication), be sure to ask if you should continue to use Boudreaux's Butt Paste.
In general, it is usually unnecessary to apply two products, and Boudreaux's Butt Paste could potentially reduce the effectiveness of the other medications (particularly if it is applied first, since it works as a barrier). Some diaper rash medications are not applied at every diaper change, though, so your healthcare provider might recommend using Boudreaux's Butt Paste in between.
