Most people are able to use ciprofloxacin ear drops (Cetraxal®) without any problems. However, as with any medication, side effects are possible. In clinical studies, between 2 and 3 percent of people using the ear drops experienced reactions like headache, itching in the ear, and ear pain when the medicine was instilled into the ear.
