What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Docosanol?

If you do not take your docosanol as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember, then continue with your regular schedule.
 

Strengths of Docosanol

Docosanol comes in one strength -- docosanol 10% cream, which comes in a two-gram tube. It is now available in a tube with a convenient pump top.
 

Is There a Generic Version of Docosanol?

Currently, no generic versions of docosanol are licensed for sale (see Generic Abreva).
