Fluocinonide Topical Solution
Talk with your healthcare provider before using fluocinonide topical solution if you:
- Have any allergies, including to foods, dyes, or preservatives
- Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant (see Lidex and Pregnancy)
- Are breastfeeding (see Lidex and Breastfeeding).
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

The dosage your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on the type and severity of the medical condition being treated. As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.

Fluocinonide topical solution may react with a few other medications (see Drug Interactions With Fluocinonide Topical Solution).
An overdose with this medication can cause serious problems. This is especially true if too much is used over an extended period of time. If you or someone else may have used too much or taken fluocinonide topical solution by mouth, seek immediate medical attention.
