Drug Interactions With Imipramine Hydrochloride

Linezolid (Zyvox)
Taking imipramine hydrochloride with linezolid can increase your chance of developing dangerous side effects, including serotonin syndrome. Do not take these medications together.
 
Methylphenidate
Methylphenidate may increase the level of imipramine in your blood. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your imipramine dosage, especially if you are starting or stopping methylphenidate.
 
Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors
Taking imipramine with MAOIs can increase your chance of developing dangerous side effects. Do not take imipramine if you have taken an MAOI within the past two weeks.
 
Phenothiazines
