Vigamox Eye Drops
Available by prescription only, Vigamox® (moxifloxacin eye drops) is an eye drop used to treat bacterial pink eye (known medically as bacterial conjunctivitis). It is approved for use in children as young as one year old, and is typically taken three times daily for seven days. Because this medication is an antibiotic, it is important to not to miss any doses.
Most people tolerate the eye drops well. However, Vigamox has been known to cause side effects, including dry eyes and eye pain. Before starting treatment with this medicine, tell your healthcare provider if you have any allergies or are pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding.
