Important Information About Your Kinrix Dose

Some general considerations to keep in mind regarding the Kinrix vaccine include the following:

  • This vaccine is typically given as a single booster dose to children four to six years old.

  • Kinrix is injected into a muscle (intramuscularly), usually in the upper arm.

  • Children can be vaccinated if they have a minor illness, such as the common cold. However, the vaccine should be postponed if the child is moderately or severely ill.

  • If you are unsure about anything related to your dosage or Kinrix dosing in general, please talk with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
