Lupren
Were you looking for more information about Lupron? Lupren is a common misspelling of Lupron.
Lupron® (leuprolide acetate) is a medication that is available by prescription only and is approved for relieving the symptoms of advanced prostate cancer. It is also approved in the treatment of central precocious puberty, which is a condition that occurs when children start puberty too early. This medicine works by stopping production of sex hormones (estrogen and testosterone).
To help ensure a safe treatment process, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medical problems you might have (such as diabetes, osteoporosis, or depression), as well as any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking.
