A Crying 2-Month-Old Baby
Babies cry. You knew that already. But some babies cry more than others and some adults are able to handle the tears better than others. Whether it is colic, an ear infection, or just plain crying-for-the-sake-of-crying, listening to a baby cry for hours on end can be overwhelmingly stressful. Some caregivers are able to endure the sound of a baby crying, while others are pushed to their limits quickly. Unfortunately, the cause of almost all shaken baby syndrome cases is the combination of a crying baby and a caretaker without the skills or knowledge to cope with the pressure of that type of situation.
Learning how to manage with a crying baby and educating other people that will also be taking care of your baby are good strategies to prevent shaken baby syndrome.
