Helpful Tips for Parents of an 8-Month-Old Baby

Your baby's new or increased mobility may come with new bumps and bruises. As a parent, you are going to need to find a middle ground to both observe and help your child navigate his newly expanded environment. You need to give him a baby-proofed, ultra-safe environment, as well as the confidence and freedom to explore.
 
Hovering and trying to prevent every bump and lump can hamper your little explorer's desire and ability to explore. Bumps and bruises are bound to happen -- when they do, being there ready with an ice pack for your baby is the best care you can provide.
