Kids Home > Vigamox Drug Interactions

Vigamox® (moxifloxacin eye drops) is a prescription medicine approved for the treatment of bacterial "pink eye," known medically as bacterial conjunctivitis. Significant drug interactions between Vigamox and other medications are unlikely to occur.

As with most eye drops, little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream and the rest of the body. As a result, Vigamox is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to affect Vigamox.

However, it is possible that there are currently unknown drug interactions with Vigamox that may be discovered at a later date. Therefore, be sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
