meningococcal vaccine) is used to prevent
bacterial meningitis and other invasive meningococcal diseases. It is approved for people between the ages of 2 and 55 years old. The vaccine is given as a single injection, usually in the upper arm. Common side effects of this product include fatigue,
headache, and swelling at the injection site.
Menactra may not be suitable for everyone, so before getting vaccinated, let your healthcare provider know about all medications you take (including nonprescription drugs and vitamins) and any medical conditions you have.
