Mononucliosis

Were you looking for information about Mononucleosis? Mononucliosis is a common misspelling of mononucleosis.

Mononucleosis (mono) is a common illness caused by either the Epstein-Barr virus or cytomegalovirus. It is nicknamed the "kissing disease" because the virus is spread through saliva and mucus. Symptoms of mononucleosis may include swollen glands or lymph nodes, fever, loss of appetite, and lack of energy. These symptoms usually improve in one or two months without any treatment; there is currently no treatment available to kill either of the viruses that cause mono.
