Natroba Topical

The prescription drug Natroba® (spinosad) is a head lice treatment that can be used in adults and children as young as four years old. As a topical liquid, Natroba is applied to the scalp and hair for 10 minutes, after which it is rinsed out with warm water. One or two treatments will be necessary, depending on whether the first treatment was sufficient to kill all of the lice. If you can still see live lice a week after the treatment, apply a second dose.
