Baby Proofing

Putting Important Numbers Somewhere Obvious

Finally, despite all of your efforts, a situation may arise where your baby gets into something that he should not have or gets injured. So, as soon as your baby is born or while there is a child in your care, there are certain numbers that you should have on hand at all times. You should keep these numbers by every phone in your residence, including:

  • 911
  • Poison control
  • Your child's doctor or family medical provider
  • Your mobile phone number, in case you are not the person home with your baby (or the number in which you can be reached)
  • Your home telephone number.
