Pediarix Uses

Pediarix Use in Older Children and Adults

Although this vaccine is ideally used in infants, it can also be used as a "catch-up" vaccine for children up to seven years of age. It is not recommended for individuals over seven years of age, as it has not been adequately studied in such age groups.

Off-Label Uses for Pediarix

Also, using it in children born to mothers with hepatitis B is an off-label use, since vaccination with the individual hepatitis B vaccine (not this combination vaccine) is officially recommended.
